Strand East, Londen

LandProp, part of the Inter IKEA Group, is building a new neighbourhood in East London: Strand East. Peak Development is providing the organization and developing the project based on the revised zoning plan. The future Strand East neighbourhood is an area covering approx. 10 hectares along the High Street opposite the Olympic Park. The existing buildings are now being demolished and the ground cleaned up. Once this has been done LandProp, part of the Inter IKEA Group, will develop the area in phases. Much of the area will have new buildings such as offices, homes, catering outlets and shops. A smaller area of 12,000 m2 gfa in the North East Quarter has some historic buildings. Thanks in no small part to the 2012 Olympic Games this area of London is on the up.
